What data is held by Yoga Elephant?
Yoga Elephant gathers and retains personal information you voluntarily provided, for example via email, the New Client Forms or via the Yoga Elephant website’s contact and enquiry form features. You are under no obligation to provide any personal data. However, you may be asked for your first name and surname, email address and telephone number. Do not submit any information or personal data if you do not want Yoga Elephant to collect it.
You may be asked for further relevant information, before you attend a yoga class, private yoga session or yoga workshop for insurance purposes, such as information about your medical history and details of past and present injuries or other factors which may affect your practice. In all instances it is your choice as to whether you provide such information.
How does Yoga Elephant use this data?
Collecting this data helps Yoga Elephant to understand the service you are looking for and enables us to improve the services we deliver.

Any personal information Yoga Elephant holds about you is stored and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. In other words all electronic information is stored securely and is password protected and any hard copies are in a private, secure cabinet when not in use.
